LME Nickel Prices Surge at Trading Commencement
At the outset of Friday's trading session, nickel prices on the European LME saw a significant upswing, marking an approximate 2.0% increase within a brief period. Concurrently, the base metal lead also experienced a 1.4% rise, whereas aluminium and copper exhibited relatively subdued movements, mostly maintaining a sideways trend.
SHFE Base Metals Display Stability
Base metals trading on the SHFE today indicated either sideways movements or marginal gains. Zinc encountered a slight dip of 1.03%, with nickel (+0.29%), aluminium (+0.29%), copper (+0.04%), and lead (+0.9%) registering modest increases.
Taiwanese Stainless Steel Producers Adjust Prices
In line with expectations, Taiwanese stainless steel producers have revised their prices upward for November. Producers cite heightened raw material expenses, elevated energy costs, and prevailing market conditions as the primary factors driving this adjustment.
